Where can the Autoexe widebody kit be purchased? Is it even available? there are photos of the white w/ pink flames one on the forum but that's about it.

I kinda want to make a more unique rx8 nowadays. Was thinking of getting a widebody rear-end section and maybe sideskirt but keep the front nose MS. I'm thinking also of using Autoexe's trunklid (large integrated whalish lip) instead of the one I have now. It would be slicker I think and mucho different than others w/ full kits.

Was also looking at new HRE rims too

The wild boddy kit that u talking about is the R-magic, but not the auto EXE

when you see the price of the kit you will be scare. i can't remember how much they are. but i remember when my friend told me about the kit. and i was scare by the amount

 

That kit is not by AUTOEXE. It's by RMAGIC I believe it is on sale in Japan for approx. 5-6 K US. Then you have to have that importer markup, the massive amounts for shipping of so many pieces being so large too as well, and then install would be a whole different ballgame. I would imagine that you'd be looking at least 10-11K by the time you've got here and installed. Don't forget your wheel spacers unless you want to buy new wheels.

 

Also, if you wide body the rear you'd have to have the match rear fenders. WIthout the front fenders the car would have TERRRIBLE visual imbalance so you'd have to replace the front fenders and hence your MS kit would not line up so you'd need the whole kit.

So, I've never seen the widebody kit in person, that's the problem, so I'm not sure how "wide" the rear will be, I just assume it isn't too crazy. So, for those who actually seen it, can you provide some feedback?

The price scares me but is there a site that does post a price next to them? That's what I was trying to find.

As for Autobacs kit, not sure, is that the same kit on the white rx8 w/ the pink flames?

According to the Option Magazine, the fenders are 50mm wider and they are going for about $59,000 Yan. About ~$6000 USD.

 

BUddy Club 2 is coming out with a wide body kit pretty soon

 

ok~~ 59000yan is about 540 us. but because if you just buy the wild body i don't think will work. because of the kit.

if you want the price. try to look at the hyper rev. i remeber that book has the price and picture

I've always dreamed of a wide-body kit for the RX-8, but I think my money would be better well spent on something else. Why buy a wide-body if you don't even have the power to back up the wide wheels you have to get to make it look decent? No thanks.
