Auto Exe. Finally Done***with pics of rear as requested***
Well after 2 months of parts being on back order etc. the kit is on and almost totally done. Still have a little touching up to do. We managed to retain the factory crash bar (for those who were questioning it) by trimming 1.5" of the kit from behind so it would clear. The bar will have to be painted black. Didn't have enough time to paint it b/c we had to leave for Nopi Nationals (took 2nd place in Mild class BTW). Modified Mag stopped by the booth and shot some pics and there should be a few pics in Super Street from the SS Tour as well.
Big thanks to Glenn at Motegi Racing for the rims, Matt and crew with BF Goodrich for new tires for the Eclipse (and the Mazda hint hint)and for getting them mounted up between drifting practice, Candi and Cam at Pettit Racing for the rotor and housing to prop the hood, Creative Classics for the body work and getting the car back together, Huff and all the people at Vivid Racing for helping get the kit here in one piece. You guys rock! http://club.deathguard.org/carimages/rx81.jpg http://club.deathguard.org/carimages/rx82.jpg http://club.deathguard.org/carimages/rx83.jpg http://club.deathguard.org/carimages/rx84.jpg |
Is that yours? Very nice. :)
Yes it is. It's been in the shop for almost 2 months getting fixed and kitted.
Just got back from NOPI Nationals, those were taken in the Motegi Booth. |
How much did it set you back?
It was a combination of Sponsorship and Insurance money so I'm not really sure.
I love that rear bumper. Can You get some better pics of it?
Yeah, I will post tons more pics tonight. Yesterday I had just gotten home from NOPI.
Will the body kit be in production anytime soon? I'm interested in it.. : )
it is alrdy i believe. try vividracing or bulletproofautomotive.
We got this one from Vivid Racing. I think that there are only 4 kits that were made.
Looks really good tho. Thanks. |

HUFF, YOU'RE ALIVE!!!! |
Here are some much better pics to see the lines of the car. It is so hard to take good ones at shows. Sorry to be a picture whore!
http://mediaservice.photoisland.com/...8913566918.jpg HeHe...looks like a walking ad for our sponsor (motegi) Here's both our girls. http://mediaservice.photoisland.com/...4022903577.jpg http://mediaservice.photoisland.com/...2738828540.jpg http://mediaservice.photoisland.com/...3098238464.jpg http://mediaservice.photoisland.com/...5125745479.jpg |
Wow that looks really good. I love how you kept the stock hood. The only turn-off for me is the front bumper.
looking sharp

beautiful looking car...Since I'm not a big fan of aftermarket spoilers or wings, I love that with this kit one is not needed. Some other aftermarket kits look "unfinished" without a rear spoiler/wing. Great job.
great pics
I love that front bumper |
If I'd ever get a body kit for my car, this would be it.
From certain angles, the front bumper looks like crap. I like this picture the most. :)
http://mediaservice.photoisland.com/...2738828540.jpg Pictures don't do this thing justice. You know I'd drop my pants if I saw your car in person. |
Thanks guys! We are really happy with it. The first thing I thought when we were buying the car is that I wanted to get rid of the plastic on the back and widen the sharp 'nose' appearance on the front. The AutoExe is perfect for what I had in mind. Hmmm...perfect for a big front mount!
Good thing about the kit - regardless of people's opinions on the looks, all AutoExe body kits are areodynamic! But I still love the looks. |
Would you mind posting some more pictures of the entire rear bumper? I would love to get it. It looks so good. I agree with you on the that damn plastic piece on the back.
SHOWOFF, may i know what exhaust are you using? thx
Anyone have the measurements on clearance/ride height for the sideskirts/rear end?
I really like the autoexe rear bumper, but not such a fan of the front end. I'm wondering how close the MS front/side matches the EXE rear... |
Man, I missed this post....
That kit looks awesome! The white example on the AutoExe website didn't look very impressive to me when I first saw it, but your car looks great  |
looks very sharp
damn that is nice! im lovin it...what kinda exhaust is that?
Thanks all!
The Exhaust is Borla. http://club.deathguard.org/carimages/rx81.jpg http://club.deathguard.org/carimages/rx82.jpg |
very nice
Hey showoff- think you could get a direct rear image or two?
I know that we have some on the PC at home. I'll try tonight.
I like the kit man. looks good.
I notice that the lip of the skirts look a little wavy. Possibly the light? |

I love it! The front bumper really puts a big smile on someones face! Nice details with the vented sides of the front bumper.
is it possible to have a foglamp on the autoexe bumper?
are those carbon fiber eyelids you have on?
Very nice, was wondering about the eyelids as well.
Is it just me, or are some of the image links broken?? I'm on a T1 line at the office, and they are not there :(
