never mind i figured it out. the front bumper is 89250 yen which converts to 810 us dollars

Japan8 06-12-2004 04:29 PM

You can do it yourself. Go to http://www.yahoo.com and type in "currency conversion" Go to one of the sites listed and set it to convert Japanese yen (JPY) to United States dollars (USD). Enjoy!

Japan8 06-12-2004 04:31 PM

Just saw your other post... I see you figured it out on your own...

black8ter 06-12-2004 04:31 PM

japan 8, is this a common company in japan because i have done a search on the company and have come up with nothing. if you know of a website it would be much app.

black8ter 06-12-2004 04:35 PM

the way i figured it, the whole kit should be about 2000us dollars. i want to order it right now but i would like to do some research on the company and what the kit is made of

Japan8 06-12-2004 04:39 PM

Like I posted at the beginning of the thread. They don't have a website listed in the magazine, nor could I find one by searching using Japanese search engines.

I've never heard of the company before. They are based out of Osaka. That's about all I can tell you. I can say that they are not one of the top/major rotary tuners in Japan. Those would be... RMagic, AutoExe, RE Amemiya, Knight Sports, Fujita Engineering (FEED), Revolution, Over Drive, San Ai, Pan Sports... (more major ones at the beginning).

Japan8 06-12-2004 04:40 PM

Another good look might be the INGS front and sides together with the STrasse rear and exhaust...

black8ter 06-12-2004 06:59 PM

i like the ings kit alot but there is something about this kit that i just have to own it

Japan8 06-12-2004 08:57 PM

I can understand that. The sides are similar though, so the only major difference would be the front bumper if you mixed them... so I offered it as another solution.

One thing about Hybrid Aero that INGS offers... those pics of the MS Urethane kit that Aeroworks has... there are pics of guys doing that to the INGS kit in Hyper Rev... FRP version and Hybrid Aero version. They can barely flex the FRP version, but the Hybrid Aero vesion they can wring it like towel... like urethane (of course it does get a small stress crack into though).

NICE FRONT BUMPER!!!!!! i'll buy it if they can improve the fitments on both head light to match the line. the best thing about this bumper is that it doesn't look rice at all. it automatic adds 20 grands to the car.

Spazm 06-12-2004 10:42 PM

Sweet kit...if I ever do decide to put a kit on, this will probably it.

The only thing bad about it is that I lose my fog lights =(

Dookie_Rx-8 06-13-2004 02:04 PM

cant u tell the shop to add it back on ?

gcar76 06-15-2004 12:46 PM

Where in the US can I but this magazine?

RotorManiac 06-15-2004 02:55 PM

this is the best kit i've seen for the 8!!!
i believe its better than the ms!
i 'd buy it straight away, its amazing :)

gcar76 06-16-2004 04:54 PM

Love the rims!!
If anyone knows what they are, do they know how much they would be?

The rear looks good, but I'm worried about melting the plastics with high exhaust temps. I will have a CZ1 installed and the exhaust being so close to the body kit, will it melt it?

It can't melt... it's fiberglass.

Is the Hyper Rev are you after? Go to the publisher in Japan.

I think the bodykit look like 360 modena as someone pointed out. hehe

Now that is a nice kit. And like everyone else, I especially like the quad tip exhaust... but, looking at the under-car pic of the exhaust closely, I would be concerned about flow. Too many sharp bends perhaps. Still a work of art though. :D

Omicron, it's so funny that you say that... I had the exact same thoughts about the quad tip exhaust. Which... it is not just looks. Supposedly it kicks out awesome soprano wail at high rpms. Makes me again think of Ferrari (yes they are high pitched when compared to American muscle). This exhaust and a high flow cat... could be a winning combination. I'd like to see what it can do on a dyno... and hear what it can do.

The other day when I was leaves the greasy pit of death called McDonald's, I saw and heard my first modded 8 (AutoExe kit and exhaust). My neighbors are 100% stock. Damn that 8 sounded badass.

You also would love the DVD that came with one of my mags... it has lots of 8 track time, talks with the head designers and a run with the 787B... man the sound from that engine!

I have to admit... for awhile there the new Legacy B4 (GT? in the US) is beautiful and was pulling at my heart, but the 8 with this kit on it... this is all me. Mazdawhat kit? :D

ALMOST8IT 06-19-2004 12:48 AM

Nice look to the front end. It looks as though it uses a new hood as well, the front hood line is even witht the top of the lights, where the standard hood is about 1/4th to 1/3rd of the way down the lights. Also the hood has no "triangle" embossed on it.

Japan8 06-19-2004 01:03 AM

The hood only doesn't have the rotor symbol on it. Changes in length are pretty impossible given the hinges and latch...

mrtux 06-19-2004 03:23 AM

perfect this may work with U.S. cars! no need of that ugly black bar on the front nose to cover that white bar behind!!!
