Anyone with Factory Low Beam HID fitted an H9 HID kit for High Beam?

Anyone with Factory Low Beam HID fitted an H9 HID kit for High Beam?

If so what kit did you use and where did you get it?

any H9 HID kit will work. the problem is the housing is made for a halogen bulb so i dont think you would get the effect you want. why waste your time and money on high beams anyways for the rare chances you need them?

In Australia mate - we actually use the high beams as we have few constantly lit highways. I understand that issue of bulb 'hot centre' change but given that its High beam, and given that the stock Halogen makes virtually no difference over the low beam HID, hence the question. The stock HID lows are great - the stock HID Highs are pathetic. I don't like pathetic...

no they only make low beam HID as stock - which come with useless H9 high beams - hence the original question...
