Anybody have the Mint Blue wing installed? Painted or unpainted. There is a pic on their site but it is on a white RX-8 which is a bit unrealistic until next year's models roll around.

well something unfortunate happened to me today...My trusty 98 Accord V6 died on me and I barely made it home. After I drop off the Accord at the dealer, I'm going to the mazda dealer with my friend (in that order). I think as soon as the accord gets out of the shop, I'm going to take off the body kit and then trade it in for the RX-8. I have looked at other cars and I will be test driving the 8 as one of them.

Back on topic, I saw that pic of the white RX-8 with the mint blue spoiler on their site but white will not be a realistic color until next year. I was hopefully someone with a silver or titanium grey would have one installed, wouldn't matter if it was painted or not.

SHOWOFF: do you have a link for the GB? I'll hunt for it on this site. I wasn't expecting to get a car this soon. I was going to wait 6 months and save up to pay cash for my next car but it looks like everything has been pushed ahead so that is what I'll probably do within a couple weeks.

i hv it on my 8 now but wait till tuesday i will post pics with mintblue wing and mazdaspeed bodykit on my black 8....(remind u guys the quality of the carbon on mine is not that good)

 

I plan on painting it. I may order the fiberglass one, the only issue is that by the time it is prepped and ready I'll probobly have less money in a painted CF one.

Does the wing come with a template to tell you where to drill? Also, do the sides hit the trunk when you close it? It looks really good on black. I was thinking Winning Blue or the new white that's coming out , but definitely an '05. thanks for the pics!

i actually imported the car myself and i get my dealer in jap to install the wing and the suspension set b4 they ship over to nz.

will hv more pics of the carbon wing tmr....

Nice ride thats the only spoiler i would consider for the RX8 both the MAZDASPEED and the stock spoiler make the car look lame IMHO .

What type of Ecu have you got in your privately imported RX8 ???
