build quality of the authentic FRP bumper differs from the replica cheaper quality. i have the full vertex kit and i will tell you that it is very strong FRP. bite the bullet.

That's what I figured, and its not a huge difference in cost between the replica and the actual part. Thanks for the feedback

Carbon in Motion is a company in South East Asia (I don't remember which). They don't have a North America distributor. While their prices are quite reasonable, the shipping costs are quite high. Someone on here looked into getting their product at one time.

Malaysia, and yeah I'd rather get the authentic bumper than deal with unknown quantities.

Well, after seeing a VR with a Vertex lang front end in person, I can say without a doubt that I'm not a fan. Looks much better on darker colors, IMHO. So looks like I'll be going with the Amemiya AD 8.
