It's listed in the accessory catalogue, however, its says it will be available at a later date. Best to call one of the US dealership's parts department and inquire if and when it will be available. Part # F151 V4 640F

thank you rx8 zoomster

Also take a look at www.fueldoors.com. If you are so inclined you can get an eletronic fuel door controlled by remote.

gas tank door...how do I get the chrome/steel

one. I am not even sure what it is made out of. My boyfriend just got his new rx-8 2 weeks ago, His birthday is in a couple weeks and I know he wants that gas door. How can I get him one for a surprise?

chrome gas door

I believe that is an aftermarket/accessory item. Contact your dealer to see if they have it. I think they have 2: a "satin" finish (which is a bit duller) and the aluminim/chrome finish which is shinier.

contact a mazda dealer. But I don't think it is avaiable yet. It does cost around 3 hundred though

Is it just me, or are those accessorie prices ridiculous. Isn't there a way to dress up your car without having to mortgage your house!!!!

Digisan 08-05-2003 02:38 AM

I don't think Jason is price gouging, Mazda parts are $$$$

Actually you have to be a little careful; Jason's accessories are the JDM accessories so you're paying for shipping, customs, etc.

You are much better off if Mazda offers the accessory through your dealer (for example, the rotary valve caps are around $60 on Jason's site and I think in the neighborhood of $30 from a Mazda dealer; on the other hand the Start Button isn't available at all in the U.S...)

Yup, but the gas cap isn't availble in the US last time I checked, so Jason's price is pretty good :D

How does this guy stay in business!!! He's literally 50-150% higher than the dealer or some place like Mazdatrix. I guess I just answered my own question.....all he needs to do is sell one item a week.

notdeafyet 08-06-2003 01:07 PM

Regarding the shiny gas cap cover, I hate fake stuff and that thing is horribly fake. Can you live with yourself knowing that there's a metal flap on your car with a dozen fake fastener heads? Gross...

boowana 08-06-2003 01:23 PM

Try this

Call Brian at Trussville Mazda at (800) 795-4755. I belive they either have them or will have them shortly.

smoothSevenz 08-15-2003 10:32 AM

wow those parts are amazing, lets every 8 owner really add his own touch and flare. The aluminum gas cap should probably be stock on all 8's....

mikeb 08-17-2003 11:43 AM

anyone get the gascap yet

Really? Hummm guess you should come to JAPAN and see our prices. Of course there is always room to negotiate especially for my repeat, customers.

Shipping is included like mentioned. Its EXPRESS mail with insurance. I can always send them NORMAL mail and then they would be cheaper then anyone on the planet. So its up to you
but the prices are a BASE price, the YEN does go up and down so I have to make a medium, and if you like to bash we can talk else where.

Japan and the US are 2 different countries, you are aware of this?

Jt, that "Coming Soon" .gif is starting to get annoying on your U.S.A. parts section :p when are you gonna open that up? i can't wait to see your prices on domestic parts, i know they'll be comparable or lower than other vendors

brothervoodoo 08-19-2003 02:28 PM

Yeah Jason,

We got people waiting over here for good deals on the Euro Spoiler and Pillar Garnish.... :D

Jt-Imports 08-19-2003 04:28 PM

BRx8---Thats for parts im bringing to Japan. All the info needs to be translated to Japanese so its taking some time.

brothervoodoo--hehe

wait, i don't get it...the USA section is for parts you're bringing to Japan and not just parts you'll be selling from the US to US customers? i don't get what we, in the US, could possibly have that the Japanese people would want...

i say you start selling some domestic parts that don't need to be imported from Japan...also, if you need any help with webpage building i can refer yot to many people good at that stuff...let me know

Jt-Imports 08-19-2003 04:39 PM

The only way I could do that is drop shipping and so far I dont trust any of the companies in the states enough to do it.

I import parts for american cars into Japan.

mikeb 08-19-2003 05:13 PM
