Thanks for the great find miata35, Thanks! Lots and lots of goodies for our 8 :D I especially like the sweet Defi gauges next to the instrument cluster (posted by Omicron). Too bad it might not fit RHD. Anywho, I'm now torn between getting this one and another set of Defi gauges. photo on bottom

Those look almost exactly like the ones in my 350z...cool

Incredible post. My lust for the RX-8 is regrowing by the second, but the C6 will be unveiled in less than a month.

why is it so hard to find many body kits for the rx8 is it because it is so new or what? i have only been able to find like 4-5 of them and they are not my style.

anyone know of a good site for them? i already checked rx8store.com hehe

The car has only existed for about 7 months now. It takes time to develope these kits. There's several links in the apearance section with all the different body kits linked in.

INGS, 2 Veilside, MS, RE Ameniya, R-Magic, Autoexe, Buddy, etc. There's almost 10 I think already.

the only one i really like is the veilside version 2 where can i purchse this when ready? the site that shows it in the post above doesnt seem to have a buy button they just show prices.

anyone that can tell me what a typical paint job on a body kit will cost me? i know they come plain and need to be painted with my car's color.

also what is a good place to get decals and crap put on the car like a lot of the mod cars have?

i will be taking a run to the local car accessory store 'Big Boys Toys' friday to check out what they offer.

I'm assuming a tire heat meter is used for racing. You need warm/hot tires to get the best traction. That's why if you ever see or watch motorcycle racing, you'll see that they warm their tires in eletric blankets/tire wraps before they race so it'll be nice and ready when they do.

Or if sustaining high speeds, to make sure the tires don't reach an unsafe operating temperature.

Anyone from North Florida check out the buddyclub2 site. They are developing a widebody kit for the rx-8 and they need a car to sponsor. I'd take the offer for my self but I don't live in Florida. http://www.buddyclub2.com
I'm not affiliated with buddyclub in any way. I just wanted to expand the possibilities for the 8.

Which do u prefer?

I have a black rx8. Do you think the mazdaspeed front bumper, or the (1st)veilside front? I dont know how the mazdaspeed kit will look on a black rx8.

No prob. I figured if I couldn't do it, I'd pass the knowledge on to someone with a chance. Good luck.
