Those look great!! so you do need the resistors or was it just to be safe? I thought maybe the newer LEDs didn't need them.

Nice job though and it look s10x better than stock. I'm seriously considering doing this. You didn't want to do the fog lights bulbs too?

The resistors are installed to fix the rapid blinking problem that you run into with LED bulbs because the car thinks one of the bulbs is burnt out due to the lower resistance the bulbs have. It is optional and I almost didn't install them untill I sat in the car and realized I would go nuts having that fast clicking. I am thinking about doing the fogs with HID and didn't have time or want to really take the bumper off to change them(Its a tight fit to change them with out removing it I think). I'll have a nice write up on how to do the resistors in our car hopefully by the end of the day so its not tough, just a couple splices on 2 easily accessable wires in the tail lights.

Really looking forward to this write up as well. I was skeptical, but after seeing the videos I'm sold.

This doesn't seem all that hard except installing the resistors to fix the fast blinking.

Do you think that using just an orange V-LED in the front, like the stock bulb, look alright? Specifically maybe a dimmer color like the ones below.

13 LED:

I kind of like the orange look and think it would look better if you have yellow fogs, than the white lights.

Great job on the LED swap! They look really good and I'm thinking of trying it myself. Looking forward to the DIY.

How do the reverse light LED's look over stock? Any improvement in brightness? You only used a 72Lm led light? Do you have night pics of what they look like?

Its hard for me to really tell because when I did the conversion I also got 20% tints on my windows but i would guess they are about the same as stock brightness, if I had to do it again that is one thing I would upgrade on and go up to some of the High Power ones for the extra money just because I would like more reverse light now. I don't know if I can get some pics, I need someone else to take the pic while I put it in reverse ect and just don't have anyone atm to do that. I'm happy with them as is and think they light up enough but would get the brighter ones if given the chance.

Actually, you can turn the light on, put the car in reverse while the car is off...this will work. Night shot preferred in this case to see brightness.

The high power one (921) seem to have less lumens than the original bulb, but I haven't confirmed 100%...I just found a 921 halogen bulb lumen rating, which is higher than the LED high power lumen rating.
