2009 + Aero Kit / Wide Body

With the help of Mazdatrix, AIT Racing and KMR we now have a new Body kit available for the 2009 and later Mazda RX-8. The New kit features a modular 4 piece or 8 piece ( including fenders ) design allowing the same kit to be used with or without the addition of fender flares. The fender flares move the fender edge out 2.5" making it great for track or show, if its a street car i recommend the 4 piece kit without the flares unless your looking for a real statement!
As well as more pictures, the link below has notes on what is needed to install the new bodywork on 04-08's.

I like it but that rear fender may just be too much of a statement, other than that its one of the nicer looking kits Ive seen for the 09s
would like to see more pics if you've got them,,,

^ The front flares are going to need a lot of work for a street car.

Not really but I was referring how the flares attach to the front bumper and over the front fender. If the fender or bumper needed to be removed then then flares would have to come off and depending how they are installed could be a major PITA. Or the flares need to be modified so the bumper and fender could be removed independently.

Just realized the rear flares would need a lot of work for a street car as well. The rear bumper can not be removed without removing the flares.

Apologizes for reviving an old thread.

Anyone have any experience with fitting the rear flares to OEM exterior? I suppose I wouldn't mind purchasing the side skirts, but I was hoping to avoid getting that rear bumper.
