First of all, how did you open up the tail lights??? There have been innumerous attempts to open the tail lights, but no success. What's your secret please!

i will put more photo up very soon and just testing on my car make sure there is no water geting in it and stuff it been 6days since i put it on no water got in and my car is parked out side i am trying to pick up more tail light and start to make them i think i am going to sell it for 200 + shipping i don't know yet and i am makeing a angel eye head light and a 2din audio for rx-8

 

To re eight next time i make one i will make a diy for it

yea i know i allways wanted one to i brought one from japan it costed me 45000 yen plus shipping i am trying to mold that and make one for really cheap i am doing this just for the member rx8club i am doing this with my own time so i don't know how long take but i want to get started soon as my work hoilday kicks in few weeks time

Well it is 85,000 Yen .. which converts to about 725US before shipping. Also when I ran the website though Babelfish it appears that you have to send YOUR head unit and face plate to them for modding.. not very practical or cost effective

Dude if what u did works (meaning no water gets in, doesnt get foggy etc)
How much would it cost to make it as u have +the red devil eyes around it as well?

Also on price, when u said 200 is that for both, or just 1 tail light?

 

What about a red reflector? Without a red reflector it's illegal... I assume this is just a prototype model without the reflectors, though...

I agree with having a rotor shape. How about nice bright LED turn signals, too?

 

damn .. i just spend money on those stupid litttle 12-LED bulbs... ME WANT ONE NOW!!! pls. turn signal would be cool too... and i dont care for the red reflector crap..maybe just a thin VERY thin strip around the LED ring..

 

hhhmmmm....I dunno Man, not me. I try to keep mine as JDM styled as possible. Nowadays everything thats made in Taiwan are with "angel eyes" or Led tailend. Seems like a good idea nontheless but considering the risk and the cost replacing original Tail light ( should anything happens).....just my 2 cents.

yea $200 for both pair i say plus shipping yea this is only like test model i will change few things and red devil eye it probly possible best thing about this is that it pretty much plug and play no extra wireing or any thing i want to test it for bit longer i on my car make sure no fault happens so far so good so i hope it stays that way just give me more idea i try do them
