Window Stickers?

Hey CZ, are you planning on creating (or maybe you already have) window stickers, so we can advertise that we're packing the CanZoomer Stage1?

Somebody says this every time the word "sticker" is uttered.

I'm going to make my own Canzoomer Stage 5 sticker and stick it for all the world to see my super fast AT RX-8.

A small, tasteful "CZ Stage 1" die cut sticker that could sit under the "RX-8" emblem in the back might be nice.

Speaking of stickers Maurice, I understand that you got some from PoLaK Graphics to put on the unit. Will you be sending those out to those of us who got them without?

Yes, manuals, stickers, switches for those who did not get them are all in the works.

Just chatting with Polak now, and why not?
Stage 1/2 stickers are OK by me.

We are thinking maybe in the colours of the cars, so red, blue, silver, yellow, titanium, black, white.

Anyone else have suggestions or requests?

We will take requests/suggestions, come up with a design, and then you can talk to Polak about ordering them.

Or, do you think I should stock them and offer with the kits?

Offer with the Kits

As a Merchandiser and Marketing director, I'd suggest packing a sticker with each unit. The $.50-$1.00 it will cost you for the sticker will be the least expensive advertising you'll ever run into Maurice.

Each time an 8 gets seen by the general public, there your name is flashing them in the face. Other 8 owners will see the name and unless they frequent these boards, will not have heard of you. In the advertising world...we call this ....sauce baby.

....On a side note...each day I roll up to the house after work I am looking for a box with Canzoomer on the address label. Because some day...very soon, my dreams will come true and a Stage 1 will be comfortablely tucked underneath the hood of my baby.

I agree with Marcus that they should be packaged with the unit. Besides the sticker that goes on the unit's casing, which should already be on there when you ship, I'd suggest a small (1/2 inch or less in height), tasteful, italic "CanZoomer Stage 1" sticker in silver, to match the RX-8 emblem, that could be put underneath the "RX 8" badge on the rear of the car. That way when someone sees your tail lights they'll know they weren't beaten by a mere "stock" RX-8. :D

I like the idea of a sticker coming with the kit, but I also like the appearance of stock with the aftermarket power. Sleeper cars are usually always more fun in my opinion, but I would make an exception in this case. And for me, don't worry about making it removable for any shop trips, because my 7 year warranty did not cover my problem anyway(friends with the dealer, or so I thought). I am ordering next month so I'll keep checking in to see what the verdict is. Omicron's suggestion is very acceptable for me, not too flashy!

I agree with marcus too. It's a good idea all around for you to toss them with the ECU piggyback... cheap, but effective marketing.

I am going to have to have one of those on my car for sure. And I like the silver idea under the RX8 badge on the back... excellent marketing tactic. However I would like to see some a little less verbose. Say "CZ Stage I" or "powered by CZ Stage I" in italics. I hope it comes with my Stage I when I get it in a couple of weeks (first GB customer).

So Maurice, or someone else on the CanZoomer staff, are we going to need to contact you for these once you get 'em, or are you planning on sending them out automatically?

I'd rather have a reverse sticker to put on the inside of a window as oppsoed to actually on the car.

Ooh, yes yes! I hate it when my stickers get rubbed off from repeated washings.

Maurice and I have decided that the sticker will be for the interior to be place on the inside of the window.

Exactly. I too do not like outside stickers, as they weather and suffer from washing and dirt contamination.

So, the question:
What finish?

Thinking of chrome.

Could do solid colors too, but I do not want to order and stock 6 different colors. Too expensive.

Should I do a poll?

No, just make an executive decision and go with it...

Sure, make an Exec Decision as long as it's white.

I would prefer one that simply says "cz1" preferably in the same font as the RX-8 logo (what is that anyway?) - and perhaps it could be inside a rotor.

If your refering to my Rx8club.com decals at www.polakgraphics.com then its not a font at all.

Its a picture of the "rx-8" on the back of the car outlined into line art in corel.

Maurice and I were thinkin much more basic. I attached an image.

Basic is always good, but I feel that it needs to be very legible.

The example shown is very stylish...but too not bold and clear.

it would look like chrome squiggles on your window.

Its a good logo for the website, hardware etc, but a window sticker should look a little different IMO.
