yes it has done this ever since the new motor and i have never checked the wires.

Well, I'm in the same boat. Just had the engine replaced and the CEL keeps flashing. Did you end up figuring what the problem was?

yes i needed a new battery and new battery terminals. nothing expensive thankfully
