Stage 1 geared for l version
Has anyone yet attempted to install the stage one that has been newly revamped to work with the new L version.
I have the original ECU version that came with my car (bought 12/31) and cannot get the reflash.
WIll the stage 1 work with my current unknow ecu version?
Will it cause any problems with non l version cars?
Is the Stage 1 more effective with the l version? How effective will it be with earlier versions?

As far as I've read:
>>WIll the stage 1 work with my current unknow ecu version?
Yes
>>Will it cause any problems with non l version cars?
No

Yes

You will get gains but not as much as L
Moving forward Maurice has a adopted a new stance in which he will have tuned specific maps located on an FTP server to allow you to get the best map for you particular calibration. From what I gather, he will start with "L" which allows previous lettered flashes to work and then have different maps you can download if significant changes occur after "L".

well, from experience, I have the new flash now, and met with Maurice last week to update the software for the new maps. Before I did have some issues (slight hesitation, and maybe a mild engine ping?).
I would do whatever you can to get the lastest flash. Maybe call CZ yourself, as I think the new version will work with most maps, but I also know he mentioned that the stage 1 will work best with the new flash?
But I know the lastest stage one map is improved from before.
