Stage 1 compatible w/ TSB??

Stage 1 compatible w/ TSB??

I was wondering...I recently had my dealer re-flash my ECU to clear a CEL. The details are in this TSB:

Can I still install a stage 1 box? Will there be any compatibility issues?

That TSB does not do anything to the fuel mixtures. Now if and when Mazda does do something to improve the 8's performance, there could be an issue with stage 1. I'm not certain but I remember reading that the stage 1 intercepts those calls and then adjusts them by a percentage. So, if those values are changed in the ECU, it could have an effect if you have stage 1 installed. You need to get canzoomer to answer this question with any amount of certainty.
