9k,
I know..it is hard for the int-X to get leaner...especially when I have a fan kicking in earlier, somehow it gets leaner..i will try again once my car is ready..now I am fixing some things...trying to get a different intercooler, because of the front opening on my new body kit is small, unlike the mspeed bumper...
I have 650cc on primary...both..i will see if I can do some 13s for idle when I finish with everything...
what's for COBB for idle? is it still 14s or in the 13s?

nope, not in INT-x..that would no happen to INT..i know that's for the idle AFR..but with INT-x, it would stall..lol...that's make it different from COBB..cobb can do that...not in intx...that's a bad thing about INT-x

There is a lot of bad with the Microtech, I'm not sure why you are bothering with it and risking so much.

Having MazdaEdit available to us now is fuggin awesome but we're still a little light in the knowledge area around flash mapping. I'm certain this is going to change now that we have a solution available that isn't funneled through a single vendor with locked maps as his modus operandi.

If you have access to a tuner with experience doing OE MAF tuning then go with MEP.

If you are in a hurry and don't have the time to find someone good, or learn it yourself, then buy and Adaptronic Select.

Where are you located, Yiddie?

Is your car NA or Turbocharged? There are only a couple of viable hardware options and all are useless if you don't have the ability or someone with the ability tune it.

LOL -- yeah, he's left a couple folks here pretty PO'd ... apparently does a much better job with the RX7 crowd.

If you were in PA and serious about an Adaptronic (I'm assuming you have a turbo otherwise all of this is pointless) I'd be more than happy to get you a nice DD tune. I'm sure Elliot would do the same, just understand no one here is going to roll out the red carpet for him.

I currently have microtech interceptor-x.. Which is terrible, Plan on switching ems soon and have it retuned, I have an appointment with Elliot next friday.. But basically my tune now must be ****..Cause it stalls out all the time and idles like crap and him n Steve from Kantuning both say it's cause of the ems. I just wanna be able to drive it on the streets with no issues. I had it shipped down to Texas and had Steve tune it and install some parts and ship it back.. Since I had the all the mods installed it's never ran right. They blame it all on the Microtech. Never downgrading Kantuning at all.. They do great work! Had this car for a couple years and it's never ran right since installed the turbo kit, Hardly ever driven.

Having worked with both cobb (ATR) and Mazdaedit .... I see either as a good option . There are advantages either way but very few people have actually used ME yet so that is a bit of a drawback

Hi Brettus, talked with Rotaman about you today, I'll give you a yell next time I'm heading down your way (sometime over winter) he raved about your tuning prowess so that and I'm sure a coffee/beer will be essential!!

For me running the esmeril kit, it pretty much the only option out there unless i want to rework the MAF and intake tube. I am sure i will know more after some time and a good tune

hey man im running a sfr kit' which is almost same as esmeril kit. how was the tune with your rx8?im also running a piggy back lt10s. maybe your tune would be a nice start for my tuner to tweak ?if you were keen to share?

you will need to set it up and tune it specifically for your RX8, especially with a turbo. There’s no plug and play for that.
