Cool Links to Cobb Tuning Accessport maps and software

The request form for the AccessTUNER Race (ATR) tuning software is here: https://cobbtuning.wufoo.com/forms/x11rf1dk0lvuln5/

The downloadable maps for Manual Trans cars are here: http://www.accessecu.com/accessport/mazda/RX-8Maps.html

If you own an Auto Trans RX8 there are no pre-tuned maps available. You will need to request the ATR software above, and when you install it a Stock-Type map with OE settings is supplied.

I'm not sure what you mean. Everything is archived off-site for now. Since there is no longer any RX8 support I don't see any point being on the forum. There is nothing new or otherwise helpful there for me.

Just posted these up in a dedicated thread rather it being a search item in other various threads.

If by "testing the links", you meant that downloaded files work with a Cobb Accessport purchased elsewhere, then yes, they work.

I installed the AP purchased from Fender137 with the "Economy" map designated for the 2004 MT model, and after a few panicky moments caused by a weak battery, the Cobb brought up the various menu items meant for Installed mode, and the car fired up with said map.

Helpful tip: either perform an ECU flash with a freshly charged vehicle battery, or have a charger / boost pack connected. It will prevent the cardiac events I went through when the car went dead black, just as the AP finished loading the map.

Bullet. Dodged.

Damn.

rx8s require custom tailored tunes to be of benefit....a tune for one rx8 is not always good for another rx8.

Cobb Support was excellent in that regard; I had copies of the last released maps for the 2004 MT and the current (for the V2b) copy of Accessport Manager in maybe a day. I happened on this thread a day or so later.

AccessTUNER Race is available through Team's website link, no special hoops to jump through. Well, maybe one hoop; you have to be a little inventive to get it to cough a proper menu for the RX-8. Try the 'Mazdaspeed' link to get going on requesting the software...

What vehicle selection should be chosen for 2007-2008 S1 MT RX-8s in the Accesstuner Race software survey?

Does this software only apply to 2004-2006 models?

I cannot open the "Stage1 91 Octane", probably because I have European version. Would anyone bother to examine what the main differences are? Leaner AFR, and more OMP, maybe ignition timing?

Does anyone have updated links to download the tuner program? I lost mine to a hard drive crash and these links no longer work.

Thanks.

Hello,
Accesstuner Race is not currently available. It is being re-tooled and we hope to have it available some time in July. For an immediate solution, visit a Protuner near you: COBB Tuning - Dealers

Bumping in hopes that someone has an archived version since COBB has taken it down.

I got sent a install file but each download able install was keyed for the person who's downloading it's personal accessport. The version of accesstuner I got is locked to whoever initially downloaded it's AP.

Accesstuner Race is no longer available for any platform. They will be bringing it back on a limited basis at some point.

Archived installs will not work as each one is coded to the person and VIN that initially requested it.
