Interceptor-X Base Map

I've purchased a used Greddy kit with an Interceptor-X recently.

The kit has now been installed but its running WAY too lean. AFR is ridiculous at the moment (17) and I'm not even gonna try and drive it to the dyno.

Thing is we are unable to connect the laptop to the X as the software adaptor was not included in the kit that I purchased. Now I'm praying that it is the same adaptor that the Microtech units use as I've managed to borrow one from a mate of mine to bring down to the garage in the morning.

What I'm worried now is that once connected - the base map wont be on the X as its a used unit. Is anyone able to email me the base map or direct me to a download site pls so I'm at least able to drive the vehicle to the dyno for tuning?

So near yet so far....must get turbo running

Thanks for the help in advance guys!

Cheers,
Merv

I don't have any int-x maps, but MazdaManiac's injector spreadsheet should get you close on the fuel side of things.

The afr is 17 idling or what?

Drive it around (not in boost) and see what you get. Low throttle at 17 isn't going to hurt anything. I will sometimes see that - but it quickly increases as throttle is given.

BTW the stock map was also too lean for me, but that's easy to fix

Unfortunately, Int-X (Microtech) maps can't be "downloaded". They can only be "burned" into the dongle by someone with another Int-X.

Just do the injector math and start filling in some values.

Or, you can find pics of maps from me, MadDog, Ryan and some others and just plug in the values.

Thanks guys for the input 

I’d assume that the vehicle should run richer as more throttle is given?

Funny enough – mine was the opposite. The more throttle I gave, the leaner it became. At about 6000 rpm the AFR was 17 and I nearly had a heart attack when I mistook exhaust rattle for pinging.

Nevertheless – I stopped, let the engine idle a little and turned it off completely.

I’ll search around for some of your maps and plug those values in. Will report back in a couple of days…lets hope its not a boohoo post about how I blew my engine

Cheers,
Merv

Hey swerve.....got some engine logs? Kicking out a map for int-x is way easier than EMU

Just takes AFR from your engine and does MM's injector math. I can crack it out for ya if you have a good sampling of logs with an AFR.
