Installing eManage Blue and Wondering Where To Mount It ?
Hello All,
Just picked up an eManage blue and was wondering where you guys mounted the unit? From the instructions it looks like you have to drill a hole through the firewall and feed the cable into the car. Has anyone installed it in the engine bay? And does the ECU cover fit back on after installing the wiring harness? Also anyone have pics on an installed eManage?
Thanks in advanced,

I have mine on the right side where the passenger feets are... Bolted it to the wall with 4 screws.
You have to modify the ecu-box in order to fit the cover over the extended harness. Simply just remove the bottom airplate from the ecu.box. Then just slice the back rubber (where the stock harness comes out) with a knife and route the e-manage harness there. Drill a hole in the firewall behind the washerfluid and route the emanage harness through it.
Simple as that.
I know some people have the emanage in the glovecompartment as well.

I mounted mine above the foot rest for the driver. Fits perfect, and used industrial strength velcro. If you need, i can post pics later
No need to drill a hole either, as there is already one on that side of the car for all the other electical components.

Can you be more specific? Exactly where is this?

I wasn´t aware of the OEM firewall-"hole" neither... Hopefully BigOLundh or someone else can post some pictures. Otherwise I´ll make sure I find it and get some pictures myself.

Hole.....
No need to even go over to the drivers side, there is a perfectly good rubber grommet between the washer bottle and the intake manifold
!
It comes out right behind the glovebox, under the trim. The a/c lines go right thru it. Why go on a safari?

You'll see where I have my Emanage installed at. in the glove box. Fits perfectly. And you don't sacrifice too much room doing so.

Hey Guys,
Can you please confirm where I should go through the firewall ... some of you had mentioned where the AC lines go through ... so do you just shove the connector through the rubber grommet or do you have to pull it back first? I've attached some pics below that may help.

So call me stupid, but still a noobie. Wanting to get one, but my question is... When it says "pre-programmed", does it mean that you can install and drive away? True or Not???
Hello Two Rotors,
What did you use to punch the hole so cleanly? Looks like it was professionally done! And did you put a rubber grommet on the hole to keep from cutting the wire?

HA, i've got you all beat! It fits perfectly behind the passenger kick panel, I've had mine there for over a year with no problems...I did go through the firewall behind the washer bottle though.
