for the latest map of 5-18-04. Is that everything you need to program the latest map? Do you have to download anything or contact Canzoomer for the ftp server to download? I just want to make sure if I do bite the bullet and order the software and cable that I will have everything to load the latest map and not have to wait or hunt for the files. Thanks

 

Until an FTP site goes up with maps, you will also need them to send you an email with the latest map -- a least previously, it was no on the CD that came with the software program. (But even if it is, there will always be a later one.) Once you have the hang of things and the proper instructions, installing a new map is a snap. (Just did it tonight; the 5/18 seems like a honey.)

 

So you order the cable and software then you still have to wait for them to email you the 5/18 map? I have read that it takes them a while to email also!

I can make sure you get it along with the cable - just ask when you place the order - I'll put it on a floppy (we still use those, don't we?).
