looking for some insight.........bone stock....thinking about a chip upgrade ....but like most i would like to have more bang for the buck.

Have you guys heard of the Vayagara Bolt-on? It gives you even more horsepower than the Surge Chip. Better than stock by an arm's length. Lots more oomph down low in the powerband.

You cannot compare reflashing / reprograming to chips because there isn't a "chip" that works on an RX-8 Every Ebay listing for such an item is a scam. If you just used some common sense one would also find this out. There are however devices and companies (Racing Beat) that can reprogram our cars ECU (computer) to get some extra HP. But those gains are in the 10-25HP range.
