Cobb question

Is it normal for the accessport to not hold and idle and stall out for a little while when you load a new map? My car starts and runs fine after I load a new map (including the stock map) except that it stalls when I let off the gas. It usually does this for a good 10 minutes

Depends. If you have excessive fuel trims because of an aftermarket intake or some kind of small vacuum leak then when the PCM is reset it would have trouble idling or stalling.

I had this issue running the K&N Typhoon II intake. It would take 2 or 3 drive cycles before the PCM would adjust enough to keep the car from dying.
