I got my COBB a few months ago and its been acting up lately.. The screen would freeze and I'd have to unplug and replug it in for it to work again.. Now a few days ago it just went blank..
Now I hooked it up to my laptop and it works as far as the info being pulled and stored on the tuner however. The screen remains black..

I would send it back into COBB for it to be fixed but I am debating on sending it to MM for the tuning software to be updated. To top it off.. I would love a map that is set up for the light tuning I already have. E/A Midpipe, cat back, pulley and intake.

Please comment and give some real feedback.. thanks..

 

send it to cobb and get it fixed before doing anything else. Calling them seems to work better for people then email.

 

Call Cobb about the problem you are having. MM does not repair the cobb accessport

 

my freezes up randomly too all the time when its hooked up in my car on live data mode, thought it was just a normal thing that they all do since ive asked around and others have the problem too.

i just unplug and replug it in and then it works again til the next time it freezes. pretty annoying!

I just got my Accessport yesterday (ordered through Mazdamaniac). I installed it and flashed to the stock style map. I did not try updating it as I believed it should be running on the latest firmware since it is brand new. Today I was using it to monitor my fuel economy on the highway. At one point, the numbers went to dashes like this '--' and I thought I may have lost my connection to my OBD 2 port. I stopped, turned off my vehicle and tried to replug it in. However, now it will not get past the first boot up screen.

After 2 or so tries ... my screen is completely blank after connecting.... haven't tried hooking up to PC

Same issue?
