it's fairly common actually, I would recommend a box over a tube though

don't forget about the three hoses that attach to the accordion assembly

I know, I was commenting on the link to the CF tube in the first post. Sorry, I should have quoted his post.

You cannot in the DIY forum unfortunately. They want the pics here to stay forever so they make you save them and attach them to your post.

I had already considered that, which he never stated where he was getting it, his link is just a hosted picture of a CF tube

so you never knew that ebay member tms14630 made that tube before?

you aren't talking to an idiot

btw, the ID is more important than the OD and it needs to be 3.375" diameter, that tube is only 0.043" thick and will induce some error

So going by that I'm going to get a lean condition .... well once the couplers arrive I'm putting it on for testing . I have the tubes already. If I have to, I will keep the accordion piece and just put the cf tube on the front portion of the Maf.

And 9k that is where I got mine.

So far this thread is just a wish list, not a DIY

Couple of more days to comply with the DIY forum requirements or else it will be moved out.

That's fine, but the purpose of the DIY forum is to post a DIY thread

Next time please do all of your work first and then post a proper DIY thread after you have all of the results and information. Personal playground threads will need to posted elsewhere in the future. Since I already made the mistake of letting it go this far we will ride it out, but in the future if the first post is not a proper DIY then it gets the boot.
