Lets hear a review!

NgoRX8 08-06-2006 02:31 PM

I so want this

mazdaexe 08-17-2006 05:51 PM

I love the braces, make the car noticeable stiffer. Even passengers on my car notice it. :D

NVMYGT 08-17-2006 06:15 PM

Where did you buy them from? I think this will really liven up my engine bay...damn you. ;)

Transam kid 01 04-05-2009 11:28 PM

Installed these today...the directions given are great. There are a couple difficult parts, which are really only because of a reaching issue. This install is easiest done with 2 people for front and rear.

BTW, they really give the car a stiffer feel around corners. I love them.

batangisip89 06-03-2009 03:20 AM

im guessing with any aftermarket front strut bar, the center engine cover cannot be reinstalled?

nycgps 06-03-2009 12:36 PM

You can with a few modification to your engine cover.

that means ... cut them up :)

the instruction tells ya where and how much u need to cut.

but what the hell. I dont need the cover, it has been collecting dust for years in my garage :)

Here is where I found them......http://www.rhdjapan.com/jdm-low/Auto...1182.......the also have a sweet brace set

Transam kid 01 06-13-2009 02:03 PM

You mean the AutoEXE member brace set? A couple people here have it on their cars; it's nice.

I, in fact, have a brand new one for sale. Check out my for sale thread (in sig)

Darkpoison187 06-13-2009 05:46 PM

That would be them....I figured I wouldn't need to specify the brand since it is a AutoEXE thread Oh an also if you follow the link they suggest the " AutoEXE member brace set" so you'd catch my drift? (sorry to be dick about it)

No it is not really, since it doesn't have that ? going on. Anyway, it's a fair ? so....if by 'best' you mean helps stiffen the chassis (a side effect of their installation) and helps join the shock towers (their purpose) into a single unbendable unit, then the stronger the brace material and design, and the more points of contact with something brace-worthy in the chassis, i.e. 4 point (old autoexe design front & rear), 6 point (new front autoexe design) or similar from someone else would be best.

In the case of any Autoexe brace - they are uniformly made of some seriously sturdy material and use triangulated construction. I've yet to see anything improving upon their construction used for shock tower bracing.... So now you can decide :)

AJRx892 07-28-2009 09:51 AM

sorry left off that i was wondering if the autoexe strut has space for edfc

i dont track i just figured theyd go with new coilovers to stiffen the suspension once i invest in those

You dont know anything. so dont ask.

^^ i know what they do i figured a simple question would be easier to answer
so best street strut bar with space for edfc

obviously best is with the most contact points making the suspension the most rigid but isnt 6 points over kill if im not tracking?

what would be best for my application

sorry last night i was overly tired and not showing my knowledge by a specific question
