I know Tito a little from through the years and last he told me he wasn't really in the business of major jobs anymore.

i dont kno who this guy is in this particular video. just found it on youtube. But tito was tellin me about an auto in San Antonio with a 3-rotor. btw i just talked to him and he advised me to go 13b-rew instead of 3-rotor. He keeps tellin me theres so much work like alot of custom-fab.

But yeah if you pay him, he will do "major jobs"

Oh, hmmm, so he is back in business I guess then. 13B REW would be my choice. It's been done here but will still cost a grip to get done right. I would be really surprised if there was a 20B Auto that none of us in the local rotary/import community have never heard of but I guess it's possible if the owner is a recluse.

yeah.... then he said something about a ferrari 360 or 430 tranny in another 3-rotor car?? wasnt 100%sure what he was saying

Hate to go around in circles but if you were going to put a 13b rew in it why not just stick with the renesis ? Good power is starting to be made - pretty soon there wont be much in it .

Lol i wanted a t56 tranny upgrade for the 8. How hard was it to make it fit? Any major modifications? Cobras are bad ass :P

well, right now i feel like its still deep in the experimental stages as far as what can be done with the Renesis... i know youve been runnin 305+ hp for a while now and some more guys have been doing alot. my goal is 350-415 whp. It can be done on the Renesis, im not doubting that at all, but with the 13b-rew i feel more confident because I have a few more options (turbos,ecu's,..etc) Like a few hours ago I learned that more than 320 lbs/ft of torque was the pretty much the breaking point on the transmission.

well if i did the swap I'd bring alot over from the 93-95 rx7. like the tranny and all that. only because I've seen tuners do it for so long on the 13b-rew. There are more people I can ask about the 13b-rew than I can ask about the Renesis. Its been out for around 15 years so thats understandable.

btw...if the 13b rew doesnt come through, my alternative option would be to get a Renesis rebuild with the Esmeril Racing apex seals. I do have confidence in those seals even though I have no proof of their effectiveness.

If you really want to stick with a stock tranny or an fd then go 13B. you will be able to make very good power and your torque wont be as much as if you did a 3 rotor. mucho torque= no good for stock tranny :)

If a reliable 350-400 was my goal I know exactly what I would do and it would not involve a motor swap .
