Question Where to buy accessories???

Hey everybody!!!

I recently got my RX8 (late October 2004) and I need people's opinion. I'm the happy owner of a Velocity Red RX8 with the appearance package, wing, rotary accents, GT package, 6 spd. I'm trying to start buying accessories for it, but I need to start small (go easy on the bank account!!!).

I'm not sure if I should get the accessories from my local Mazda dealer (I've been wanting to get those side polished fender strakes) or look on the internet for them. I guess I'm trying to figure out if it would be cheaper to get them on the internet or go directly to the dealer (and may be better to go this route and recomended). I know that what the dealer has as far as accessories may be somewhat limited and that I will have to go to aftermarket companies. Also, how does adding accessories to the car affect my warranty???

Any suggestions???

hopupracing.com seems to have a wide selection of pretty nice parts, espcieally the body kits from RE, Ings +1, and a full on Mazdaspeed body kit and all for good prices.

I would also check Canzoomer, SR motorsports, and Racing Beat to, they all make quality stuff.

If you are looking for genuine Mazda & Mazdaspeed parts rx8garage.net is pretty good (thew from up above). If he doesn't have it you can look at Rosenthal Mazda they have Mazda/Mazdaspeed stuff for way below retail (what your regular Mazda dealer would charge you). They are at www.finishlineperformance.com.

Congratulations & good luck.
