I'm going to come into about $1500 soon (taxes and work bonus). I've read the "Best mods" thread, and am wondering what YOU would get with this money. Only thing I'm not willing to try and install is clutch + flywheel, but I'm not opposed to paying to have it installed. I'm thinking light-weight clutch and AFE Short throw. What flywheel/clutch would you get for that much (including estimated install cost)?


EDIT: Not opposed to exhausts/CAI either. Yes, I've read a good chunk of threads here, having problems deciding between all the available mods and how to prioritize the things.

 

I'd go with a Fidanza flywheel and fidanza 3.2 clucth.

Couple those with an AFE short shifter and stain steel clutch line.

I'd imagine that would pretty close to $1500.

Maybe you could also get an Agency pulley as well.

 

Or RB flash instead of pulley.

 

I would get a lightweight flywheel and clutch for sure. I don't have it yet, but my selection is the Fidanza flywheel with an ACT clutch.

 

Where would/did you buy these parts from? Online? Can you link me to good places to buy this stuff at? Simple google searches for those lead me to places that sell Fidanza, but don't appear to have RX-8 parts.
