What is the single best 'mod' you have done to your 8?

DQ's DD was Pro5 for 12years. Loved that little thing.
best mod: BHR. But it's barely a 'mod'; it just ensures the ignition works the way it should.
Best 'mod' for me I'd have to say is the poly engine & diff mounts. Really tightened up perceived slop in the drivetrain.

Hey I have a Mazda RX8 4port and I have put all the bolt ons on it Which include
1)Aem Cold Air Intake
2)BORLA Exhaust
3)MEGAN Mid-pipe
4)RACING-BEAT Headers
5)BHR Ignition Kit
6)NGK Spark plugs
7)RALCO Light weight pulleys
Now my next mods are walbro fuel pump, level10 torque converter, electric water pump, some good lightweight rims and MazdaEdit. The main problem that I’m facing right now is that i can’t contact level10. They won’t reply to my email and secondly I live in Pakistan.. so I don’t think so if I can call them.. plz someone help me here.. it’s my dream to make my car one of the fastest Rx8s.. this was my first car when I turned 18 and now it’s been 5 years together.

Best mod ever for me was Mickey Thompson drag radials, because the car was super slow without them.

Right now, I am rocking my AutoExe steering wheel. Recommended to everyone who wants to keep the functionality of the stock steering wheel but have better grip.
The flywheel doesn't move translationally. It rotates, so the mass of it doesn't matter as much as the moment of inertia.
The Exedy flywheel may be as heavy as stock in terms of mass, but if it's moving the mass closer to the centre, that will still decrease its moment of inertia and give you the benefits of a 'lighter'(as in less moment of inertia) flywheel. The stock flywheel supposedly has a lot of its mass on the outside edge.
For reference, a theoretical thin ring with mass m and radius r has a moment of inertia of mr^2, while a theoretical thin disk with the same mass and radius only has half of the moment of inertia of the thin ring.
And for daily driving, too 'light' of a flywheel isn't really a good thing. It's really easy to stall and you can lose speed a bit too quickly when shifting and going up a hill.

Best most recent “MOD”
The most recent “MODs” I’ve done to the 2007 NA S1 were the new Ryan Rotary coils. They are a plug and play with no adapters. Also,I put a new aluminum coil bracket on from RX8 Performance coupled with new RED 8.5 mm MSD wires.

@jcbrx8 God, that batt. relocation couldn't be more half assed... seriously, just run the + to the starter bolt, then a wire from the starter to the fusebox. Saves you 4ft o wire and a nasty duct tape look.
My single best mod is a screen in the ashtray. I put there data about coolant, oil, afr, timing, CEL's, and anything else I may want.

There is no comparison of IGN-1A coils to OE. Yes, the newest version work just fine (took them what, 4 attempts to get it right?), if "just fine" is what you're after. Otherwise, if you aren't running them/haven't experienced the difference for yourself then maybe just hush up.
And just to be clear: if you're not gonna adjust the dwell, there is very little reason to install these coils (other than longevity).
