I'm getting a 1 resinated midpipe, ill have a 2.5" catback system, I dont plan on F/Iing it anytime soon, so as of right now it stays N/A.

Would 3" make more power or 2.5" to complete the 2.5" system?

i believe 3 inch is the best...the bigger the pipe the easier exhaust flows out.

Except, if you purchase Racing Beat components, the flanges are all OEM, and 2.5", but the pipes are all 3" - go figure that one out.

No problem, a gas encountering a restriction (venturi) knows to go faster, unlike humans at a roadway restriction, who go slower.

Alrighty guys ive been doing some searching, and I think im set on getting the AP 3" duel res.

Being duel res, how much power loss would occur apposed to a single res?

Get a BHR midpipe then. But it costs quite a bit. But you get what you pay for

yeah, any 3" pipe is going to add horsepower.

i'd go with the turboxs... full 3" exhaust that includes a single resonated midpipe. $500.

Since he has a 2.5" catback and all the connection points are 2.5", how would a 3" midpipe provide any gains over a 2.5" midpipe?

I made over 300 whp with a 2.5" exhaust system.

Thank you, someone that seen what I was talking about. Thats what I figured. B&B midpipe it is. Thanx bro.

3" I believe is over doing it just alittle too much for a n/a rotary..

I think your going to see better results with a smooth 2.5 inch all the way through. Not realy talking about peak power, but all around performance.

Thats why I wished someone would make a 2.75" midpipe back exhaust.

people have shown gains from going to 3" exhaust systems like the turboxs (catback and midpipe).

Ok I had a RB mid pipe and a OBX Exhaust. Not bad but my idle was rough and I could never fig out why. I thought maybe I need a tue due to my ported TB.
So I got a duel res AP mid pipe and AP Exhaust. My rough idle is gone and my car pulls faster to higher rpm. Its like before you know it I'm at 6,500 rpms!
The sound is deep and crackly but like all race/mid pipes your going to have loud deep and drone.
