The rb intake is a little on the quiet side and is way too stock for me. I highly reccomend the HKS Racing Suction.

I have a k&n typhoon intake and I love it.

 

I haven't heard anyone mention the SR Motorsports one. I was just curious if anyone had it or new anything positive or negative about it.

 

well, my e-bayer bailed out on my CFwerks, pisses me off , but oh well. Guess I'll wait for a while and see if anything new comes along

if you want RB, you might as well stay stock..

most intakes available are for the uber sexxy sound.. RB is too conservative in the sound departmetn.. i wouldnt waste my money on it..

That's true, and that is why I got the RB intake. I'll leave the most of the sound to other mods.

 

plenty of people study their butts off but can only score C's and B's ... the amount of effort expended only counts when you're trying to be sensitive to someone's feelings, in the real world it's the end result that matters most


just because you spent 100 hrs on a dyno doesn't mean somebody else can't trip across something in 1 hour that you failed to find or consider

well I just installed my K&N last nite and love it.... it was a b!tch to install though... counting that I was so anxious to put it in we started the installation at like 1am...

 

I like that re one but Im sure its like 1k

I was talking to some parts dealers and they recommended the K&N for performance, but sound was a *****. The RB was the quietest and offered decent gains. So, my question is how loud is the K&N over the stock?
