never heard of it or seen it but it looks a little cheesey and cobled together. In theory it looks like it might work, but that's a rather small filter, too. How much does it cost?

That would never go in my car. It looks like they started with a good idea but then just hurried up to get it finished. Corners have been cut.

it'd look better if the box was the width of the space and they didn't use a random metal piece to hook up the stock engine cover.

In Europe the cost is 395 € is so expensive.
Maybe is better stock box and filter about pipercross or k&n but the plastic original box arrived at high temperatures and trasmitted it at the filter with consequent decrease of performances.
Any idea for carbon box with good filter ?
I read simota is not good for filter ....

Hi,
imho this is the best air intake for ours rx8.
http://japanparts.com/db/partslist.p...ddle=1&small=6
Full carbon fiber box, good filter element and it seems to me, fiber glass pipe, for offer a superb insulation performance.
If you want Re Amemiya offer also a dedicated air duct always built in carbon fiber.
Unfortunately that kit is very expensive and is hard to find in Europe.
See you soon on italian forum

Ora ti rispondo in Italiano
