Weight Redux
So I've been doing some thinking and I'm really curious to see what people have been removing for weight reduction (besides obviously going with lighter wheels, tires, flywheels etc.)
I'm talking about... removing unnecessary additives.... (for example plastic FRONT fender wells) has anyone gotten into this, or are they like me kindof a little to done in by the clean look of the car to ruin it by removing obvious stuff?

2-piece brake rotors save about 9 LBS of unsprung rotational weight in the front and 5LBS on the rear.
A racing battery can save about 20LBS.
Catless mid pipe can save 15-20LBS, and a light weight exhaust can save another 20LBS.
All those things added togeather save a noticible about of weight but will cost you a couple thousand dollars.
