Vibrant Muffler?

Just curious if anyone had tried one of these (or the one with the 2.5" inlet) in place of the stock muffler. Looks like it would be an easy install to replace the stock one, just curious to what it would sound like!

Anyone? I may give it a shot to see what it's like. Think it will be far enough back to not break down from the heat? It isn't rotary specific...

As long as all the pipe diameters match up it should be fine. I don't think you have to worry about a muffler getting killed by the heat do you?

I'm not as worried about dimensions as about tone. I know that rotary engines like to kill exhaust parts that aren't specific to rotary because the exhaust is so hot... That far back I don't think I'll have an issue though. My goal is to run straight pipe all the way back to the muffler and have no resonators.

You might want to check with Vibrant. See if they recommend this for a rotary engine.
