Upgraded OEM coils?

Hey guys, where the hell can I buy Coils for cheap for our car? also, I would like to know if there are any "upgraded" coils out there? except for that 700$ one?
I heard Chrism talking about having "upgraded" OEM coils?

if anyone knows about this please chime in, I wanna buy new coils since I upgraded to a 65shot and want to be on a safe side (no Ray, I'm not gonna go back to a 55 shot! its like talking a drug addict out of using crack!)

I want to buy this along with the mazsport sparkplugs and wires.....

If Ray told you not to run a 65 shot you better listen to him because you won't be on the safe side no matter what ignition coils you use.

hmm lets do the math

65-55 = 10hp

motor = $2500 or more

10hp = $2500 or more

sounds like a no brainer.

but i guess if you want a little extra "insurance" buy the mazsport coils.. call betsy for info.

Didn't know they had been released from "prototype" status? Does this mean they are available for purchase?

a couple of people have done it also, not just me and seem to be fine with it for a while now ( like Chrism)

thankyou for your concern, this is my only car and I will try my hardest not to destroy it or incapacitate it in anyway shape or form, with that aside, I will be trying to get the most power out of it SAFELY

hopefully I will prove you wrong, if not then I'll be buying a new car altogether

Of those who were lucky to have the 65 jets work I don't think they had issues with the ignition system as it is said to be good to 338 h.p., or so.

Sometimes I think it would have been safer for me to hand a toddler a loaded gun than to help taj do the nitrous........

So when you pop your motor or crash your car "running from the cops", your parents gonna buy you a new motor too? Hope So!

I would be interested in upgraded coils as well. I suspect that I have yet again blown by #4 trailing coil for whatever reason. Rotaryman25 replaced it for me under warranty but I suspect it's gone bye bye again.

Clearly the coils seem to be the weak point of the RX8 ignition system. Any idea what the mazsport coils are going for?
