I've looked for and could not find any threads on the TurboXS 4'' tips with silencers. Nor could i have found any silencer that is sold with the 4''. I was wondering if i where to get some silencers off ebay if they would do anything. but my concern is back pressure, will it effect the silencers? effect the engine? blow a gasket? or blow anything for that matter? Pretty much my concern is, will it be safe to put on silencers for the 4'' TurboXS tips? Or have resonators put in? or both for shiz and giggles?

What would be the point? you would loose any hp gained, or even more than what you had stock.

 

I don't care for the hp gain or loss, it's not like i'm going to go out on the street and race every car there is. I just want the sound. I'm just asking if i could do this without harming the car.

 

The silencers are just to make the exhaust sound more subtle. It will not harm the engine whatsoever.

 

And the resonator? if i choose to go that route? or both?

 

Resonator won't hurt it either, they just impead airflow to reduce noise.
