Why no a vette or viper

If you do infact have $300,000.00(wow, thats a lot of 0's) why don't you buy a car that already has some hp and some TORQUE, I know what the 8 is, but I also know what it itn't and thats a dyno queen or a 10 second beast. If all you care about is drag racing you should get a Z06(C5 ) or a Viper(SRT-10) and spend as much as it takes to have a full roll-cage and 5-point harneses put in so if you crash raceing or get hit again. Both of these are under your "I don't want to spend 100 grand, but I want to get my RX-8 up to 600-650 Hp with a turbo or drop in a rare rotary or get a Skyline that you'll put a coffie can exaust on that will take off 10 horse power"(but you'll get it back in the 12 inch tip, not like the 2 inch piping has ANYTHING to do with how much power you'll get). I would recomend investing 200 grand of your FREE money in some US bonds or other low/no( NO risk doesn't exist but I don't think the US plans on closing down) bond or funds until your 40 and then have a charmed life with your millions you got from Dr. Pepper hitting you $13,000(until you "modified" it) civic.

dude, no matter what people on this forum will harshly make fun of you. Just because its fun, or whatever. If you want the truth, a RX 8, I doubt will be able to ever keep with a 600 hp supra, unless you drop another engine. Thats my opinion, not a fact, it might be able to happen. But ya, I know what you are talking about, get the RX 8! It has better looks than most cars, especially for a 19 year old

Dude im glad your 19 as im only 20.

Now if your words are true with the money you have left lying around. Let me ask you a simple question.

* The day you get bored with your super beast, what happens there?, you see people always experience then move on, so your going to do the same, the only difference is the funds you have left will drop a bit more until you run out and then work until your 70.

If that doesnt churn your stomach, then why not consider getting the car on finance like (hire purchase) and reduce the repayments of a $80,000 car one off payment to like $900p/m and whilst your paying that off the other $220,000 is working away, so by the time you have payed your 5yr term, the money you have invested has basically returned you 1/4 of what you invested (high yield interest fund). And then from there you can now bascially (not work forever, if you choose) and also finance another car which is at the value of over $100,000 again if you choose.

So IMHO don't be conservative, dont be stupid just be wise about your decision.

Wow surprised to see this thread still going ----
Congrates on you desicision to get the 7 please pics of you're
new ride and all its glory when you get it.
If you can also include pics of you building it to acheive such high hp numbers that would be gravy!
