Last time I had the car in the shop they mentioned I had a small exhaust leak at the rear coupling where the pipe splits into two mufflers. I was wondering where I could get another gasket for that coupling? Is there a Tanabe specific one or are they generic? I did a quick search of the web and wasn't finding gaskets specifically.

 

Is this the exhaust you have? It looks like its the same size as the flange that connects the cat-back to the mid-pipe. Race Roots sell a gasket that should fit. I use these on my exhaust system and I've never had an issue with them. http://raceroots.com/index.php/produ...et-2-bolt.html

 

The one I have is actually the model below that, the Super Medalion Hyper.


I'd think it would use the same gasket though? Says 60-70mm pipe diameter, which is also what the one you mentioned is.

 

I believe you can get any gasket that would fit or be the same diameter as the old one

 

just take the gasket to a decent auto parts store and they can likely match one up.
