suporting mods for pettit supercharger kit
i am a serious future owner. ive already purchised alot of the items mentioned in this thread so trust me im not one of those all talk punk kids that just like to talk about getting the kit...lol i am however awaiting the very near final payment ill be making on my rx8, before i get the kit. this is the first ive heard you have to wait or be on a list to buy it. so if this is true how long do you have to wait for it? should i be on the list now?
aren't they done making these SC'ers? I thought someone mentioned that their original run of SC'ers was complete and they were done.
(I think Moon might have said it??? )

so do i have this right... basically there going to stop producing that specific model supercharger at the factory that makes them but pettit is contracting another factory to produce another model?so when it comes time for me to purchase one they will have either the current model or a new one? and what ever happened to the stage 3?
No its the same manufacturer, just a change in model numbers etc.
Lysholm are rationalising their model line up after buying another company.
All is well, but there was also a small delay in s/c production while Lysholm retooled / refitted their factory.

The last I heard was that they weren't planning on it due to the fact that the stage 2 w/ flash performed better than expected. I know that right now, they are working on other things.
I asked Cam about the Stage III back in April, and with a huge grin on his face, he jokingly replied, "we're not going to do the Stage III, we're skipping the Stage III and going right to Stage IV!"
I think they're just going to keep improving the Stage II.

so does the stage 2 run 5 psi or what? have they made differnt pulleys yet to up the boost? im assuming higher boost pulley would require more fuel mods to be safe...although if you installed a meth kit you should be able to up it at least a couple pounds.. whats the most whp someone has made with the supercharger? and whats the highest boost pressure someones run on a highly modded fuel system and EMS? like im interested to know how much hp this kit is able to support.. and how much boost you can produce with this thing. can you mod the fuel system and up the boost to say 12psi and make like 400whp?

lol no 20b haha im just curious about the max this thing can make. im only looking for a reliable 300 whp i already have a 400 hp rx7 so i can always drive that if i want more power...lol
summit racing --my mistake-- it is a cyberdyne gauge not auto meter-- digital (needed to see clearly each degree)--part number cyb-A024E061V--cost $39 before shipping. You can get red or green colors.

the last digit was a N but i still found it by scrolling thru haha thanks though that looks like a nice guage especialy for that price. so if i buy that guage i dont need anything else? the sending unit will thread right into the new pettit intake?
nothing but a npt adapter you can get from lowes or home depo. I forgot the size but I think it is a 1/2 on the male end and 1/4 on the female end. Then it screws right in.
Make sure the sensor will stick out pass the end of the adaptor--i had to cut mine a little with a hacksaw--the npt adaptor not the sensor lol. I used the red thread lock when i installed.
