Searched high and low... Masking CEL in new AP's?

Received my AP from MM a few weeks ago and I've been searching high and low about how to mask the rear O2 sensor CEL that I keep hearing about..

I've given up and I have to ask.. where in seemingly simple AP menu system is this option?

Every thread about this CEL says something along the lines of "get an AP and you can mask/delete the CEL for that code" but where is this fabled option? How specifically do you go about doing it? I've been through every single menu 100+ times now and I don't see anything about it.. Under "Troubleshooting", there is an option to reset the ECU and clear codes (which I've done.. the CEL comes right back after a drive cycle) as well as an option to read the codes.

You need to use access tuner race software.
Free download from Cobb

Interesting. In all those threads about this, that part wasn't mentioned, thus I haven't been searching for that specifically. Luckily, I have that installed.

Off to search some more, now armed with more critical information.

Thanks!

I believe that most people just have MM mask the CELs during the tuning sessions.

Yeah, you can't access Jeff's tunes to mask the cel he has to do it.
But the maps (stage1 and stock style) from Cobb are open and available for the user to tweak or completely change.

Yeah i've got the Stage 1 loaded into AccessTuner RACE.. now to figure out how to mask the CEL.

I'm just messing around at this point.. I'll just have Jeff do it during my tuning session.

CEL"s or MIL's are also known as DTC's in the ATR software

In the ATR software under the Edit Menu
Pick the Advance Parameters selection.
All the available masking options are there.

the internet universe is infinitely huge as compared this one small planet of a forum, took me 3 seconds

http://www.cobbforums.com/forums/sho...-to-remove-CEL

and there is an Engine Tuning forum, which begs the question on why this is posted here rather than there with all the multitude of other Cobb AP threads ...

Sorry to bring this back up, but can you mask EVERY CEL/DTC/MIL in the ECU?
Next question, will it simply mask the CEL from ODB scanners, or will it complelty delete the CEL from effecting the ECU.
For example, i am no longer using my OMP and would like to just get rid of it comeplety, however it throws the car into limp mode. If i 'masked the three CEL's for the OMP, would it still cause a limp mode situation?
