im looking to upgrade my car . I just got and im looking for the fastes and cheapest way to upgrade it before i get into big upgrades. If any one can help let me know Thank You

what kind of upgrades? Are you looking for power upgrades? want faster acceleration? handling? looks?

I will tell you this; I've spent thousands on mods to try and get more HP out of this car and it is possible but it is much more expensive then most other cars. The RX-8 is very well designed from the factory and Mazda did not leave much HP on the table...

Stickies!!!! Yay!!!! You should learn to LOVE THE STICKIES!!!! Sorry, but intro threads are great for learning about the 8! And you would answer your own questions before realizing like Jedi54 said: More HP is much more expensive on the RX-8 than other cars like *cough-cough* Civics *cough-cough*.

The FASTEST way to get better HP and Acceleration is to TRADE THE RX-8 for an '02 Corvette Z-06.

 

Like Jedi said, there really is no cheap way to get much extra horsepower for the 8... The only real way to make the 8 produce much more power is to go forced induction or nitrous... Both of which will cost you a pretty good wad of cash.
