rx8 rearend gears
Whatever the case it will definitely give the rx8 the advantage in autocross where the "swap parts between model years" are hazy

Meaning we could run 4.77 gears and get away with it legally.
Autox really is the best place for 4.77 and 5.12 gears on this car.
Cause in the mustang the differential pumpkin is easily accessible from the rear of the car, unscrew one cover and you can take out the final drive gear.
On the rx8 the rear suspension must be completely disassembled and the differential physically taken out of the car.
Apparently Knightsports is making a 4.77 also but its the same thing as the FEED.
and theres always the Mazdaspeed 5.12 gear but its like $1200 or something.

after they sold out there wasn’t enough demand to justify running another batch
some people call it 5.11 or 5.1, but it was actually 5.125. You’re just going to have to constantly keep searching the web and hope you can get to the rare one that pops up once in a long while before someone else does.

Have no idea about this company or whether the in stock listing is accurate, you’ll just have to ask them:
Mazda RX8 - Transmission - Gearsets - The Mazda Zoom Zoom Store

Took me a while to find mine. You're going to be running 80mph at like 5k RPM. top end and cruising will suffer, but it's nice in really twisty mountain roads. Honestly not the greatest for a street car, and pretty rare.
On eBay a user named “nodlaww” in Australia sells new 5.375 and 5.8 ring & pinion gears for $800 AUD. For another $100 AUD you can get the 5.1 gear set and then it’s another $103 AUD to ship. That’s like $600-$700 USD shipped.
