Rp super cat Vs. RB racing pipe
I read on this forum that a RP supercat with a RB rev 8 makes some blue flames on the night ! uhuh nice
What are the emissions requirements in Nevada? I am planning to move to Vegas and I want to add an after market header, hi-flo cat and full exhaust. I wonder if I will have any problems with registering my car, not to mention, what type of problems does all of that cause with the computer in the RX8 pertaining to air flow.

When I moved here (last summer) they just did a OBDII plug in emissions test and visual inspection as far as I could tell. Thus if you still have a cat (even if high flow) and it doesn't throw an emissions related CEL I think you're fine.
Air flow should only change as you're changing elevation, and LV isn't high, so you shouldn't have any trouble.

My car with RB exhaust and AP midpipe... No CEL after about 1000 miles.. have the cobb AP waiting to disable it..

Hey, thanks a lot for the bit of information. So, I guess will proceed with my plans and upgrade my system from the header to the exhaust. I am really exited to see how the car will run when it is all completed. Thanks!!
With the pipe removed - take any long blunt instrument (IE: long 1-2" diameter pipe, pry bar, steel rod, etc) and pound out honeycomb material with a hammer.
You won't pass emissions, it will trigger a CEL and P0420.
