yeah, this sounds great. I'm planning to ship such a High Flow Cat to germany, but I'm still in license problems. If they'll me allow to drive this thing, i'll order it .
What you think ? Does it fit my Fox Catback exhaust ? ( Sound Video )

If your catback was a direct bolt on replacement, then this midpipe will work since it too is a direct bolt on replacement. :p

It sounds like the biggest difference in sound is the rumble at idle. Nice. Dont really notice a significant change in accelaration note..but maybe thats just me.

It's really not that noticable until you go WOT. From a stop light it sounds like I have a V10 under the hood... :D Once up to cruising speeds, it's perfect.

I just had mine installed with my existing RB Cat Back. The rumble / growl at idle is now a little more pronounced but there is a substantial difference in the sound level upon rapid excelleration.

The seat of my pants says that I also have a performance boost.

That's why I posted those sound clips So you could hear it before you bought it. I like the sound personally, while some might think it is too loud. I'm dynoing at 9-10AM tomorrow, so wish us BOTH luck.

I'm back, but we think the data is not quite right it seems. I need to converse with "dannobre" and "dmp" about this. My car dynoed about the same as two weeks ago, but renwar1's car dynoed lower. Remember that renwar1 had the 206 HP uncorrected car, or 197.76 SAE Corrected on 2/26. I had 180.5 SAE corrected.

Why would I stay the same while he dropped, when he did nothing to his car and I added the midpipe? Confusing isn't it?

I dynoed 181.27 SAE corrected. If you look at my graph, the first three runs were from two weeks ago, and the last three were from today and with the midpipe installed. The only other mod I have done in those two weeks were the tires. I went from the stock Potenzas to the Pirelli 245/40R18's. They are about .3 inched smaller in diameter. I don't see how that could effect things.

I find it hard to beleive that I only gained .77 rwhp But, think of this, what if I actually gained what renwar1 lost? If he lost numbers and I stayed the same, maybe I actually picked up 9 RWHP. That was about his drop I think. Why didn't I drop also? Was the dynojet on the blink maybe? I can tell you that my butt dyno says I got more than .77

Go figure this one out...

Weather conditions might have been different, and depending on the weight of the tires, they might have altered the dyno numbers too as they are part of the drivetrain. Experts will probably be able to expand/correct what I have mentioned, but I hope this might help a little bit.

Corrected values aren't changed by weather - as they are 'corrected to' a standard weather/atmosphere condition.

Ahh see I missed the whole corrected part. Sometimes when I see that I might have an answer I skip over the details :D Thanks for the quick correction.

Dan said I was running richer this time also. I have the canscan data, but I'm struggling with creating the Excel charts. Maybe Dan can help with this one. For some reason, I see an E-Manage in my future...

I just got off the phone with Chris at RP. In fact he called me to survey my grin factor with the midpipe. He said I should see 8 RWHP with this midpipe. He said that I should have tested the midpipe on the SAME day back two weeks ago. Too bad I didn't. So the theory about me gaining what renwar1 lost is right after all. Someone needs to dyno the change on the same day.

I gave him a thumbs up review - and said that I do not believe my results from today. He agreed with me. He has one on his test mule 8 down at Garland also. He is looking for someone to put it on a Greddy Turbo.

Their old Catalytic material on their 3rd Gen twin turbo midpipe showed a 20 RWHP increase, and this new Catalytic material showed a 34 RWHP increase on the same 3rd gen! So, I definitely have the right midpipe.

34 RWHP? Is there FI in there somewhere? I think I missed something.

The actual cat materials of contruction revealed 14 more RWHP on their twin turbo 3rd gen as compared to the old cat materials like Random Tech, and others. It is way better!

Sorry if I confused you :o

I've got the greddy kit and I'm interested in getting a midpipe in the future. It seems other greddy turbo owners with aftermarket midpipes get a CEL or the stock emanage map doesn't work very well for them.
I need to research how to download and tune maps to the emanage. Something about a cable and software, but I would have to erase the stock emanage map (password protected). Since the stock map works great for me, I'll be waiting for somebody else to try it first.

You might try calling Chris @ Rotary Performance. He said he has a Greddy Turbo sitting there that he is going to put on his test mule 8, that has the SuperCAT midpipe on it, once all the N/A products are completely done and tested. He is currently running an E-Manage on it also, so he will most likely be able to tune yours one day.
