rotary extreme air intake

Was just on rotary extreme web site, and they are currently in the works of developing a new itake system. It shows that they have discontinued the last one and working on the new one. It states that they have shown 8-12 rwhp on the dyno, but i dont know if that was the old model or the new one in development.
Anyone have any more info on this system????

Not on the new system, but the "old" one has been out for a while and most people (myself included) have gotten fairly good results with it. For a long time it was the best out there, but that was prior to the RB REVi intake coming out too. Anyway the "old" RE intake it does give a gain, which was dyno proven and verified independantly, but was still the subject of a lot of debate around here. Do some seaching, you'll find a lot of threads about it. Hard to say how the new one will be... why don't you buy it and tell us all? :D

I think the old RE intake worked fine as long as you followed their instructions and checked to see if your car was one that would allow it to perform as indicated on the RE website (ie remove your filter and do a couple of runs with it out and check for hesistation). I did that and it worked fine so I had no qualms about the intake and was happy with it....until the REVi came out

I have been waiting to purchase the revi. But after seeing the re intake i might wait till i can see a side by side comparison. It is going to be hard to get me to buy anything other than the revi. just have to see what RE can produce.
