RB lightweight rotors

I was just at Racing Beat's website and I saw the lightened rotors. I read the description and still am not totally sure what they do. I understand they reduce load, so are they mainly to increase engine life under high power applications like FI? Thanks.

Yea, I'm an idiot. I search before and got nothing. Then I searched again just now and found this. I must've spelled something wrong before or something. Thanks though.
