Racing Beat Arguement
I have 10 years experince in the rotary world, what I have found is that wen RB says that their product makes 10 hp it does, that does not mean it is the best product in the market it means they say what they get out of a part, right now i just change my rb header from my race car and got 9 rwhp moore but that does not mean RB lied, there header made what they said it was going to.
I can tell you that what I am tired of is companys that say they make x hp an when you test the part you dont come even close , and end up putting the RB part back.
I have a RB 6 puck racing clutch in my race car, im at 269 rwhp I also have the same clutch in my 347 rwhp fd, NO PROBLEM SO FAR.

What companies are you fond of for their cutting edge products for the 8, especially normally aspirated?

fwiw, I have nothing against RB, my issue is with the people who keep throwing up their website link like they're Moses coming down from the mountain top
I mentioned earlier in the thread that IMO their stuff is top quality
I think a performance exhaust that weighs more than OE is kind of a joke, but some people are more interested in that slick logo on the tip than anything else, to each their own ...
and the statement you replied to was just tongue in cheek remark, you guys keep going and and on with this BS thread, you're just asking for people to F' with you just for the annoyance factor ...
On the multimedia page there is a link to a "best motoring" video. They test different tuning stages on the RX 8 ..from NA to FI... very very nice video.
The second Rx 8 they test is a NA version where they only worked on the exhaust line (so says the tuner) and the came up with a 16bhp difference... (?!)
So there must be something to get out of it ...
For those who didn't yet see the movie .. take a beer.. relax and enjoy!

A total lack of knowledge, Fram makes some VERY good racing filters, this appears to be an HP6 but I can't tell for sure. Maybee you should look at some real race cars and see what systems are being used before you pass judgement.
