Hey guys I'm in my car right now trying to install my new Axial Flow shifter and ran into a snag on the very first real step. The instructions say to release the black tab by the hand brake to start separating the controls from the center console to and be very careful since this tab is fragile...yeah there's nothing fragile about this thing. I reach and and pull on it and I can feel the tab moving a little but it doesn't click or release anything. I started gently but no matter how hard I pull on this thing it won't let go, just gives a little bit. I've looked at the picture 100 times and I'm sure I'm pulling on the tab but the fact that it won't let go/I'm pulling on it pretty hard now makes me wonder. Any help out there?

 

Never mind, just got it. Apparently when the directions say pull left they're talking about it from the inverted point of view...pushed it to the right and it clicked over no prob...
