question on aem cold air intake installation

i know that in the directions and everything it says how you have to take the front bumper off and everything...but is it possible to install the intake without taking off the bumper and just do everything from under the hood???

nope..... the S pipe that pokes thru and curves down bolts on directly behind the bumper, not to mention the bolts holding the VFAD are located behind the bumper as well.

takes me about 8 minutes to remove my bumper. Not a big deal at all.

on the advice of ray hill and brice, i did it without taking off the bumper or the wheels because no jackstands. but i regretted it.

if you just undo everything on the top and loosen everything on the bottom, you can lean it down to slide the tube down there.

the working spaces will be tight.
