Question about rx8 muffler

Has any one remove the muffler from the 8 and use just a direct pipe?
I have done to others but I just got the 8 not much exp whit japan cars.

YUP, it's been done. some people here run midpipes

i've seen it done. no mufflers.. it's loud...

https://www.rx8club.com/west-rx-8-forum-34/custom-exhaust-finished-126195/ to bad his photos are gone. I was simple, two pipes that went into a Y connector.

smells bad inside and out of car. Easy way to get picked up by the cops.

the y connector, that's what I was thinking.
